We are delighted with the work carried out by John and his team. They managed to remove a large spruce, leaning ash and a dangerous
poplar before tackling a weeping willow that had grown too tall - and even managed to install a tyre swing for our boys in the process!!
We now have a large wood store full of logs all neatly stacked by John and a pile of wood chippings which will come in very useful in the garden. All the work was carried out in a professional
manner and it was a joy for my son and I to watch John, a skilled aborist, at work in the tree. Our garden was left clean and tidy and we are already earmarking some phase 2 projects for
John to carry out in the future. We would highly recommend.

We employed John Stewart earlier this year to reduce the height of a large Eucalyptus tree and remove the lower branches from several oaks.
He provided exemplary service. He responded quickly to our initial enquiry, and provided a written quotation within twenty four hours of his site visit.
John carried out the work very competently, and then cleared afterwards leaving hardly a trace of his visit.
We would not hesitate to employ him again.

The work you carried out for us was very well done and we are more than happy with it. You quoted for the work which we found reasonable and fair, you honoured your commitment as to date and time for the work to be done and when we had a query you responded quickly and everything was done to our complete satisfaction.
Many thanks. I am very happy for you to give anyone my phone number if they would like a reference which I will happily supply.
Best wishes

Dear John,
Just a quick 'e' to say many thanks for a great job on the sycamore. The tree was so enormous that I had really doubted that your estimate of 'within one day' was realistic. I had foreseen potential problems with the garage roof, telephone wire and vulnerable chimney but they were clearly run-of-the-mill to you. Likewise, clearing away all the small stuff and stacking the rest in sizes suitable for an OAP to lift was exactly what I had wanted. It is great to know that you have moved into this area - I’m sure there will be plenty of work for you - good luck,
Sincerely,
Brian Jones
Thanks John for a great job. From your clear and prompt quote to the tidy site you left, the job
was brilliant. We're getting much more sun on our PV panels now.

John Stewart carried out work for me on a large copper beech in
January of this year. The work involved reducing the overall crown allowing more light into neighbouring properties and reducing the stress on the tree itself. Also
raising the lower crown to give more space and light to a specimen yew growing under the beech. Pruning was also necessary to give suitable clearance from phone lines. John arrived on time, worked hard with impressive skill and
left the site clean and tidy. I am very
satisfied with the work which produced all the results required and left the tree in a pleasing shape all year round (not just when in leaf) and thriving condition.

"I am keen to recommend John Stewart as a tree surgeon. He has done some great work for me, reducing a very large beech hedge that had got out of control and grown to over 40 ft. His work rate was prodigious, he was pleasant, polite, punctual and did the job for a sensible price. He then cleared up and left the site clean and tidy, a job well done. I plan to use him for all future work."
